What do chemical peels do for you?
Chemical peels work as a medical-grade exfoliator and cause heat to build on your face. This heat promotes collagenesis (new collagen) to grow which in turn elevates the overall texture of the skin.

Do you want younger-looking, smoother skin? Well, of course, you do! Chemical peels will help you achieve this younger and more even look by allowing your newer, healthier skin cells, which are hidden just below the surface of your face, to rise to the top. Chemical peels help with
At Pure Aesthetix, we carry the Modified Jessner chemical peel which contains lactic acid for its moisturizing effect and Salicylic Acid which is a BHA. BHA stands for beta hydroxy acid which is oil-soluble and can get deeper into the pores to remove dead skin cells and excess sebum. The treatment literally peels away the surface of your skin so that new, more evenly pigmented skin cells may generate and take their place. In addition, after use, you’ll likely notice that your skin is smoother to the touch. So now, what are you waiting for?
Typically, you will see a difference in 4-6 treatments.
A typical individual will need 4 – 6 treatments to see maximum results.
Chemical peels can be done every 2 weeks until the desired results are achieved.
Skin that’s not regularly “exfoliated” with chemical peels may experience more easily clogged pores due to dirt, excess oil, and dead skin cells. Acne and blackheads are also more likely to occur.
