Meditation is a beautiful way to center yourself. When life is stressful or your mind is racing, you can always turn to meditation. It’s also accessible to everyone because you can do it anywhere. All you need to do is find a quiet, comfortable space, close your eyes, and simply breathe.
Some people feel intimidated to try meditation as it sounds too difficult to master, but the truth is it’s easy and feels amazing!
Below are a few steps to meditate anywhere:
1) Sit Upright
2) Cross Your Legs
3) Close Your Eyes
4) Place Your Hands on Your Knees (however you feel comfortable)
5) Breathe In for 5 seconds
6) Breathe Out for 5 seconds
7) Keep repeating this breathing process slowly for 10 -30 min.
8) Focusing on your breathing will quiet the mind.

Making better food choices involves eating a balanced diet that is rich in fruits and vegetables. These foods provide the fiber needed to build good bacteria and guard gut health.
In general, choosing whole foods over processed foods will promote healthy digestion. Processed foods often contain added sugar, fat and salt. In addition, processed foods may have lost many of their original nutrients during the food manufacturing process.
As you are taking care of your Gut you’re taking care of your outer-self as well. Your skin benefits in so many ways through healthy food choices.
Eating right doesn’t have to be complicated. Start building a healthy plate by choosing fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean protein and low-fat dairy — foods that are packed with the nutrients you need without too many added sugars, sodium and solid fats.
Now Let’s discuss Exercise…
You know you should exercise. But how do you keep up your dedication to the gym or a training routine when your schedule is overloaded with a so many things you can’t make the time!
Confused on how to push yourself to get a routine going? Has it been years? That’s ok!
Just start sometime… that’s what matters!
Tips to get going:
1) Find a Gym or Class you actually like – this will help keep you motivated to go frequently.
2) Pick a Workout that you are good at
3) Pick some comfortable clothes you feel confident working out in 4) Make sure to mark your calendar, schedule and email yourself…. Do whatever you need to keep yourself on task to keep up with it!
All in All, through a better understanding of our health’s intrinsic link with beauty and appearance, people might actually start looking at beauty maintenance as more of a HEALTHY way of living and socially support it more as one entity.
