FAQ
Microneedling
Microneedling uses fine needles to create micropunctures to the skin. This injury releases cytokines, including growth factors to heal.
Cytokines are signaling proteins that stimulate cell growth, survival differentiation, inflammation and more importantly tissue repair.
Adding Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) to microneedling has important growth factors to increase the rate of healing, promoting collagen production, and other proteins that support the skin.
This is done by drawing blood from your arm, separating platelets then applying them into the recently microneedled areas on your face.
The vampire facial, also known as microneedling with PRP.
